Hanson's latest studio effort, The Walk, was released in 2007. First released in the Japan, the UK, and finally the US, The Walk showcases some of Hanson's best songwriting and musicianship yet. Collectible editions include the Japanese version, which has two unreleased bonus tracks, and the US version, which has three "live" studio tracks and a bonus DVD of concert footage.

	Japan # VICP-63701 Release Date: February 21, 2007 Japanese relese of The Walk. The album comes with an OBI-strip, a Japanese lyric booklet, and (most importantly!) two bonus tracks. 	UK # COOKCD398 Release Date: April 30, 2007 UK version of The Walk. The UK version has 14 tracks, no bonuses with this one.
	Hong Kong # LOVECD30 Release Date: May 17, 2007 Chinese version of The Walk distributed via Love Da Records. Same 14 tracks & cover art as the UK release - the CD is plain black.
	US CD # 10701 DVD # 10702 Release Date: July 24, 2007 The US version of the The Walk is different from previous releases in many ways. First, the front cover art is different from all other releases. Second, the CD art is different. Third (and most important!), the CD has three bonus tracks unavailable elsewhere. Even more exclusive, Hanson.net offers a CD/DVD combo set which is not available in retail stores. The DVD, titled "The Walk Acoustic Live", contains 7 tracks that Hanson performed acoustically at the Blank Slate in Tulsa, OK, on May 6, 2007. Most tracks are acoustic versions of songs from The Walk album; however, a handful are exclusive rarities that Hanson has never recorded, performed, etc., outside of this release. CD Bonus Tracks: 1. 	Korea # 10701 / HRC126 Release Date: December 2007 Rare Korean version of The Walk with sticker on front cover. This release is a digipak release which folds open to reveal the album booklet on the left in a pocket, and the CD on the right. Cover art, CD art, and track listing is similar to the US release. The spine has a catalog # of HRC126; the spine and back cover say that the record was produced by "Happy Robot Records." Bonus Tracks: 1. Got A Hold On Me 2. I've Been Down 3. Something Going Round
	Italy # ? Release Date: March 21, 2008 The Walk has been released in Italy on Planet Records, an indie label. The album seems to have the same cover as the US version, which is interesting, considering the UK version released last year took the Japanese cover. 	Japan - Promo # No Catalog Number Very rare promo version of The Walk from Japan! Features Japanese text, the track listing, and some early release dates. Notice the release dates for the UK and the US were originally March 5 and April 9, respectively. Very rare!!
	The Walk Sampler - UK Promo # FRYCD288-CDR2 # 5, # 37, # 39 Two track promo CD for The Walk featuring Great Divide, previously available on iTunes, and Go (Single Edit). The CD has information on the back cover for radio and TV. At least three samplers for this exist - one has a #5 stamped on the front cover; another has a #37; another has a #39. Tracks: 1. 	The Walk Sampler - UK Promo # FRYCD288-CDR1 # 20 A second sampler, this one with four tracks. The CD cover art is almost identical to the previous promo, except this has information on the back cover for Press. Tracks: 1. Great Divide 2. Go (Single Edit) 3. Blue Sky 4. Something Going Round
	UK - Promo # COOKCD398 Early UK promo version of The Walk. The CD comes in a slimline jewel case with front artwork and an acetate CD.

	Canada - Promo # PTN 321 Rare Canadian promo for The Walk; it comes in a slipcase with the track listing printed on the front and a street date of "July 10."
	US - Promo # ? Extremely rare US promo version of The Walk with a closeup picture of crosswalk sign on the front cover. A picture of clouds is on the back cover and on the CD. This promo was pressed before the release date got pushed back to July 24, notice that the bottom says, "in stores May 22, 2007". Very very rare!

China/Asia has wasted no time creating their own bootleg versions of Hanson's album The Walk! No official Chinese release has been confirmed.

This is a very interesting 2CD release. First of all, the CDs are housed in a wooden box with a very glossy slipcover over it. There is a sticker on the lower right corner of the glossy slipcover that looks like an advertisement for a car.

A catalog number and barcode is on the front of the wooden box, and Chinese writing is on the front and back of the box.

Inside, there is a booklet that features nothing but the lyrics for every single song on both CDs -- 36 songs. CD1 includes all of the tracks found on the Japanese version of The Walk plus three tracks from Middle of Nowhere, and one track from 3 Car Garage (Thinking of You). CD2 includes all the tracks from the Japanese Underneath.

A second 2CD Chinese release of The Walk. This version includes all of the Japanese The Walk and Underneath tracks, plus several (random) tracks from Snowed In and Middle of Nowhere thrown into the mix.
