After a four-year hiatus, the now independant Hanson brothers returned to the music scene with a brand new single called Penny & Me. Penny is the first glimpse of studio music since the This Time Around era. The music is released on their new record label, 3CG Records. All promotion for the single is done completely by the brothers, those hired for 3CG Records, and their management, 10th St. Entertainment. Hanson paired up with several distribution companies to release the single online and in stores around the world, so catalog numbers are very different depending on the area of release. Promos for Penny & Me started surfacing in late 2003 ...

	US # 818-610-403-2 Release Date: March 23, 2004 The first Penny & Me single to be released. The single has four tracks, including the excellent B-side "Every Word I Say", and two tracks from Underneath Acoustic. Tracks: 1. Penny & Me (Radio Edit) 2. Every Word I Say 3. 	Australia # BIGS006 Release Date: September 28, 2004 Four track Australian edition includes the same tracks as the US version, plus the Penny & Me video, enhanced. Tracks: 1. Penny & Me (Radio Edit) 2. Every Word I Say 3. Penny & Me (Underneath Acoustic) 4. Hey (Underneath Acoustic)
	UK # FRYCD220X Release Date: January 24, 2005 The first UK P&M CD to be released. This one has only two tracks, including the infamous "MMMBop" live from the Underneath Acoustic Live DVD. Some of the crowd interaction is included in the track, but unfortunately, the "We're tunin' , we're tunin' " section was edited out. Darn. :-P Tracks: 1. Penny & Me (Radio Edit) 2. MMMBop (Live)
	UK # FRYCD220 Release Date: January 24, 2005 The second of two CDs to be released in the UK. Besides the three tracks (one of which is Underneath from the UAL DVD), the CD has pretty exclusive enhanced content, including the Penny & Me video, Underneath (from the UAL DVD), a photo gallery, and Hanson wallpapers. 	Russia # 818-610-403-2 Release Date: 2004 Very unusual Penny & Me release from (I believe) Russia. At first glance, this looks like a normal Penny & Me single, but the track listing proves otherwise! The CD has the same four tracks as the US release (and the same catalog #), but 15 'bonus' tracks fall between Every Word I Say and Penny & Me (acoustic). Songs from Middle Of Nowhere, This Time Around, and even 3 Car Garage (Thinking of You) are represented. There is a "CD Plus studio" logo on the back cover and the CD itself. The front cover is more than just a single sheet - it opens up to reveal two Hanson photos. A great find!!!

	US - Promo No Catalog Number Very rare one track Penny & Me promo. This is the first Penny & Me promo to surface in the US in late 2003 (the US promo below also surfaced during this time - read more below). The text on the front cover is orange; at the bottom it reads, "Penny & Me, from the upcoming album 'underneath.'" Tracks: 1. Penny & Me (Radio Edit)
	US - Promo No Catalog Number Very rare two track Penny & Me promo - this is very similiar to the previous promo - almost too similiar. No doubt they were made at the same time. The front covers are identical; the only real difference between this promo and the previous promo is that this CD has the very rare Vocal Up edit of Penny & Me, and the tracks do not have times next to them like the previous promo. Notice that the CD says "Radio Edit" on the left-hand side (like the promo above), even though this CD has two tracks. Tracks include the Radio Edit and the very rare Vocal Up edit. Tracks: 1. 	UK - Promo # FRYCD221CDR This one track Penny & Me promo surfaced in early 2004. The text on the front cover is more 'yellow' than orange, a little different from the US promo. Tracks: 1. Penny & Me (Radio Edit)
	Japan - Promo # CDS-1737 Promo Penny & Me single from Japan. Cool cover art, both outside and inside. Interestingly, Penny & Me was never released as a retail single in Japan. Tracks: 1. Penny & Me (Radio Edit)
	Mexico - Promo # 101-1258 Very rare three track promo CD from Mexico. Tracks include the Radio Edit, the very rare Vocal Up Version, and the UA Version. Tracks: 1. Penny & Me (Radio Edit) 2. Penny & Me (Vocal Up) 3. Penny & Me (Acoustic Version)
	Australia - Promo # HAN001 Rare two track promo CD from Australia. Notice that the front cover says "FOR PROMTIONAL USE ONLY" - pretty obvious typo there. :-P Tracks: 1. Penny & Me (Radio Edit) 2. Penny & Me (Vocal Up)
	UK - Promo # FRYCD220XPROMO The first UK promo is almost identical to the retail release except for a white box on the inner spine with the words "PROMO ONLY NOT FOR SALE" and the words "FOR PROMOTIONAL USE ONLY - NOT FOR RESALE" written on the actual CD in a circular pattern.
